Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Payrollx (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. You must provide accurate company and employee information and keep it up to date. A single login may not be shared across multiple people.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular you will not:

• Upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content.
• Attempt to breach security, access other tenants’ data, or reverse‑engineer the Service.
• Use the Service to process data you are not legally entitled to process.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties without written permission.

4. Fees & billing

Paid plans are billed per active employee per month, in advance, unless agreed otherwise. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Non‑payment may result in suspension. See our Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all employee and payroll data you submit. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may export your data at any time while your subscription is active.

6. Warranties & liability

The Service is provided “as is”. While we work hard to keep calculations accurate and compliant, you are responsible for reviewing payroll runs and statutory filings before they are finalised. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.

7. Term & termination

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in‑app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
